Dutch designer Joost Gehem is into a unique business where he collects the unwanted belongings of the dead and converts them into stools. He believes there are times when heirs hardly use any of the belongings of their deceased and it ends up lying in dump. Therefore, he collects it and molds it into the shape of a stool under the high pressure with the help of machines at his workplace.
This idea may not appeal to all but there may be people who would love to keep their loved ones’ memories alive by keeping their stuff around. After all, we all can accommodate few stools in our homes!
