This issue is now taken care of by Hsu Hao-Po, Chang Yu-Hui & Chang Chung-Wei who has designed a product named Herbow.
Herbow is a window installation that not only is herb planter but also acts as a rain and sun shelter for the house. Sliding upwards it prevents rain and sun to enter the house while giving natural climatic condition to grow the plants of your choice. Herbow is a great product to bring nature at your doorstep and giving you a quick access to the freshly grown herbs for the kitchen.
