Often it is seen that when people go for shopping they tend to pay their bills through their debit card or credit card. But now, a new type of card has been released which is quite different from a debit or credit card. This card is referred to as the loyalty card. This card is basically used to identify the thieves in a shopping store.
This card is very helpful not only for the shopping store as it helps in identifying the thieves but also for the customers who want to gin some discounts by just giving away some of the basic information. What happens is that when an individual buys something from a shopping store, he is supposed to give away the details of each and everything that he has bought at the cash counter. The shopping store will keep this data each time that individual visits the stores. This way, in exchange of the information that the individual gives to the shopping store, he is provided with a loyalty card. The card helps the individual in getting discounts when he goes out to buy gas for his vehicle.
Some people might not be very comfortable in giving away the information about their products because this way their name and their address is known to the shopping store and they might be the one who prefer privacy for themselves. However, it should be mentioned that these loyalty cards are only meant to know as to what all an individual is buying from the store. They are totally different from credit card or debit card in the sense that no money is deducted from them. Also, their personal details are also not mentioned through this card.
It is advisable that is an individual is willing to have a loyalty card for himself then he should get it made from a store where he is more likely to visit because then the discounts would be more. It would be useless on the part of the individual to get the loyalty card of a store which he visits only once a month.
