Gadgets for detecting paranormal activity will send cold sweats down your spine

Paranormal activity and spirits visiting people in the cold dark nights has always been the subject of controversy. But for people who have lost their near and dear ones in a tragic accident more often than not spirits of the deceased come to visit their family with enough evidence recorded on the modern equipment for this very purpose. Some TV series like TAPS and Ghost Hunters clearly show the presence of other worldly events and data recorded on gadgets like EVP meters and sound recorders. And now Gary Galka who lost his daughter eight years ago in a car crash always felt the presence of Melissa near him and that very connection led him to develop digital devices for detecting paranormal events. An electrical engineer by profession, Gary designed 30 different devices for setting out on ghost hunting.

Amazingly when he and his family became part of Ghost Adventures episode one of his voice recording equipment later on revealed a voice that said “Hi Daddy, I love you”. The devices cost anywhere from $79 to $350 a piece and are called as The only professional measurement instrument line designed exclusively for paranormal enthusiasts. The gadgets are sold through Gary’s company, D.A.S. Distribution Inc. in East Granby and the manufacturing is done in house with products ranging from sound meters, humidity meters and temperature meters. One of the most popular device of the paranormal activity detecting gadgets is the Mel meter that detects changes in electromagnetic and temperature gradients and is the same device that was used in Ghost Adventures episode for recording Melissa’s voice.
