Penelope was a female after whose name the exhibition was displayed at Chapel of Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil by Tatiana Blass. As per the tale, Penelope worked on the yarn consistently in order to wait for her husband Odyssey, who was out for twenty years for a war. On the completion of her work, she was supposed to choose a suitor for her. She secretly used to unweave the parts of it in order to prolong the work.
