Formula One helps fundraising for Matthew James’ Bionic Hand



Mercedes GP, The Formula One team was so moved by a letter of a British teen, Matthew James that it went ahead to arrange for a prosthetic arm for the boy born without one. They contacted Touch Bionics (the maker of prosthetics), who decided to wave off 25,000 pound clinical services fee, while for rest of the amount fundraise is taking place. The two lithium batteries located in the base of prosthetic gives complete flexibility for the hand movement. Watch the video above with boy himself telling the details.
