Sitting Bulles: A balloon packed lounger by Marie Galoyer

Imagine a relaxed lounging experience on a consortium of floating balloons packed together especially for you. Oh, no I am not making up anything, it is very much possible. The ‘Sitting Bulles’ as the pictures show, designed by Marie Galoyer, a French designer is made of transparent polyurethane spheres that have been melded together to create one unique lounger for a lazed out affair.

The lounger can be converted into a multitude of shapes and structures with the spheres sometimes becoming a seat for the user and sometimes acting as just an armrest, all according to the user’s requirement. The spheres can be loosened and made into booster seats also. What is commendable of the designer is that the lounger is built strong enough to handle a 200 kg load with ease.

Sitting Bulles functions on the principle of linked balls around a central capsule with each sphere attached to an added security of a double inflation valve. Before using it, the user simply has to move the rope in each attachment and tighten the clamp together with the rope provided. Very easy to use, the spheres can be inflated and deflated at own will within a span of just 5 minutes. You can carry your own lounger wherever you feel like, to the beach, to the mountains, for trips, anywhere packed away in your travelling bags.

The material used for making these adjustable balloons is of premium quality. Mary Galoyer, the designer has used Polyurethane that boasts of high elasticity, resistance to moisture and flotation capabilities. Expected to surge the market the lounger can be called an inflatable one in transparent polyurethane with dimensions of 150 x 80 x 80 h. It weighs 2.2 kg and comes with a unique carry bag to be put in use while folding and whisking away the lounger. The lounger is as of now priced at a 4785 € TTC.
