Gobug interactive toy induces brain development among children of all ages

Primarily developed keeping in mind the void created by Autism Spectrum Disorder in children, Gobug is an interactive toy designed to trigger social learning experience among individuals of all ages. The toy is based on the simple fact that when controlled by more than one user (using individual controllers) the toy’s movement forward, backward, left and right or in angular directions depends on the individual input by each user. For example if one user is moving the toy in forward direction and the other user is moving the toy in left direction using their controllers, then ultimately the toy will move 45 degrees, that is the intermediate direction. On the other hand if both the users are moving the Gobug toy in same direction then it will move much faster and precisely in the direction one desires to move it.

Gobug toy works only when there are more than 2 players to control the gadget, obviously because it is designed to induce social interactive behavior thereby facilitating to sharpen the brain bits of children suffering from Autism Spectrum disorder. Gobug controllers have a lighting ribbon on top of it to indicate favorable movements (when pointed in same direction) via a green light and unfavorable movements (when pointed in different directions) via red lights. This kind of gameplay induces curiosity and increased concentration level among the children to move the Gobug in the direction they desire, therefore kicking the brain bits into high performance gradient.

Not only is the toy helpful in kicking the auditory processing, spatial orientation, visual tracking, social interaction and motor planning in children suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorder but can be also a good interactive learning experience for children who are in their development phase. All this is possible due to the fact that the child not only has to be aware of his hand movements in order to move Gobug but also keep an eye on the hand movements of other players in order to move the toy in desired direction.
