The loops lights at night which surely can lit the ambience in a playful and revivifying manner.

As you can see in the pictures the design looks like a leaf loop. The device discovers the potential of standard softwood panels which can be mass customized to adjust to the latitude and sun angle of any site using parametric design software and automated fabrication with a lightweight Kuka robotic arm.

The technology is a combination of both hi and low tech design strategies. Like it produces electricity unlike any other normal furniture engages the body but works like furniture ‘by hand’. It mixes sun tracking and social dynamics; it can be kept as site specific object and made up of flexible soft wood.

The one who have designed it believes that- The SOFT Rocker blurs distinctions between pleasure and work and recasts power generation as an integrated and distributed public activity rather than a centralized, singular off-site project of ‘engineering’.
