In an exhibition “Il futuro nelle mani. Artieri domani” for the 150th anniversary of Italian unity, Nucleo designs two tables that feature typical Italian character. The Italian history has its own brave fellowmen which are paid tribute in a way with the help of these designs. The exhibition has been organised from 17th March until 20th November by Enzo Biffi Gentili at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni.
The two designs have been inspired by two famous Italian groups, secret sect of the Carbonari and Garibaldi’s red-shirted volunteers.
While the red table ‘1000 camicie rosse’ (1000 red shirts), created by by Piergiorgio Robino and Alice C, depicts the undying heroism and Italian passion; the black table ‘Carboniferous’, created and by Piergiorgio Robino and Stefania Fersini in its crystals’-like shape talks about the underground plots and secrecy.
